The Swift Surplus Cap is constructed with excess recycled nylon that was historically discarded during our manufacturing process and is perfect for warm-weather trail running and hiking.

Built with the same craftsmanship as our best-selling Swift Cap, the Swift Surplus Cap’s recycled nylon blend is highly breathable, water resistant, quick drying, and offers UPF 40 sun protection. Its shaped brim and nylon panels protect the face and eyes from the sun, and its low profile fits nicely under a helmet for alpine climbing and ski touring. And weighing only 2.5 ounces, it’s ideal for the ounce-counting backpacker and thru-hiker. The dark fabric under the brim helps reduce glare, while mesh panels ensure superior breathability. A quick-release back buckle allows for on-the-fly adjustment, and the moisture-wicking TransAction headband keeps sweat off the face and eyes.
